Mummi reports the following from Iceland: 460 Brent at Alftanes yesterday. A further 200+ at Blautos (Grunnafjordur) yesterday and a flock of 165 was at a new site in far NW (Bolungarvík) probably drifted in strong SW-wind. Also a flock of 30 at Stykkisholmur today (unusually early for Breidafjördur). Rings already being read!

Icelandic latest

Yann, Edward et al. are invariably on top of things in Iceland so the following link:

http://notendur.hi.is/yannk/migrants.htm

is the best way to keep abreast of the latest migratory happenings. The news thus far - Greenland White-front, Greylag Geese and Whooper Swans have arrived but no sign, as yet, of Brent. Mummi will no doubt be first to see or hear of them so watch this space....
